The fact that this houseboat is gorgeous with all the intricate cedarwood carvings, perfectly adorned interiors coupled with an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas doesn't even begin to describe why I'm in love with this place. As soon as we reached the dock, we were greeted by an entourage of staff and were seated in the houseboat Front Area with a nice hot cup of Kahwa and assorted cookies. The owner Mr Umar Farooq personally greeted us and as we spoke about our trip,we instantly knew we were going to enjoy every bit of our experience in the houseboat. The owner spoke to us for a good hour about his travels and experiences about the world and personally made sure we were taken care of with a scrumptious Kashmiri dinner. The chef also delivered on our dessert request. The staff were so polite and welcoming and took care of our every need no matter what. There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full of love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Best View Group of Houseboats 🚢⛵!

My partner and I booked this houseboat on Dal Lake during the winter month of December. You can easily organise a car ride from the airport to the location for 1500 rupees. You are taken by transport which makes it 10 times easier to find the location. The Driver spoke very good English as well as the two gentleman who helped us onto the boat and to the actual houseboat itself once you get to the houseboat the place is actually quite big and majority of the time you’ll have it to yourself from here you can also ask for meals to be included in your package that includes breakfast lunch and dinner and it’s quite reasonable for example Rs.1000 for dinner for two people. You can also ask for tours which really helped us because it just made our trip here extremely smooth. Over the winter months it is quite cold however hot water bottles were provided as well as heating and enough blankets to ensure a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this houseboat. Thanks!

The moment we stepped out onto the balcony, we were greeted by a blanket of fresh snow. It was an absolute delight for the kids, who had a wonderful time playing in the snow right outside. Watching them enjoy while surrounded by the serene beauty of the landscape was such a heartwarming sight. The views from the Garden 🏡 were simply breathtaking, and the staff ensured we had a wonderful experience. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and memorable getaway. Obviously, anyone who stays here or even looks at it from inside will give it five stars. If possible, more stars can be given! It is luxury where not much can be expected. When you first reach Dal lake and you get into your designated shikara which is supposed to take you to your houseboat, and then your shikara uploads you into this BEST VIEW Houseboat, we didn't foresee the level of its luxury. It's the epitome of luxuriousness. The most friendly and five-star hotel trained staff, the aesthetically beautiful & elegant decor, the spacious and comfy rooms, the long attached bathrooms which are totally out of this world, The food is literally mouthwatering, every morsel is yumm delicious. I can go on and on.

We recently stayed at Best View Group of Houseboats at Srinagar Dal lake and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in process. I had an amazing experience at this place! The rooms were neat and cozy, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. No matter what we asked for, they never said no. We wanted to try Kashmiri Rajma Rice and Kahwa, and they graciously made it on special order while also taking care of our pure vegetarian meals. Since we had limited time, we wanted to make the most of our trip, and the staff went above and beyond to guide us and make all the necessary arrangements. They even woke up around 5 AM just to drop us off for our Shikara ride, which was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this place for their hospitality and attention to detail.

It was a very pleasant stay at Houseboat Best View 🪟. The best part of the stay is the hospitality provided by the team here and the delicious cuisines. We are grateful to the Owner of Best View 🪟, He provided us his immense support for any of our problems and he made sure we got the best of kashmir including taking us out for the kashmiri harisa, setting up a bonfire and guiding us on what to explore. The experience here was priceless due to the charismatic people that is managing this property. Would recommend and plan to come here again.

The most memorable part of our 6 days trip to Kashmir was the houseboat. That too Best View group of houseboats where we stayed for a night was really amazing. What made us more happy and comfortable was the hospitality shown by the person in charge there. He also served us with hot roti sabji, Chai, coffee whatever we asked for with love n care. We loved the stay there and the surrounding scenery and of course shopping in the boat. Thanks to Best View group for providing all these and making our trip a memorable one.

We had a lovely time at Best View Luxury Houseboat and had Umar and Adnan looking after us. The houseboat is like a palace and beautifully done up internally. They have a lovely deck upstairs to watch the sunset and we had tea in the morning. The houseboat is neat and tidy and doesn’t smell like others. Adil cooked us a feast for dinner and a scrumptious breakfast too and Umar looked after us throughout. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it. After reading the Google reviews we decided to reserve this houseboat and we had the best stay for three nights. We loved their hospitality especially Mr. Adnan who went above and beyond to make sure that' we had the best time. We will come back to stay here for more nights. I highly recommend this houseboat. Really a heritage houseboat on water with the best and latest amenities. Dont forget to see their roof top on this houseboat and you will have the best views of the Lakes and mountains

We just returned from our Kashmir trip and one of the highlights was our stay at Best View Group of houseboat. The rooms are really pretty with a decent size bathtub. The service was impeccable. They have a little boutique from where i ended up buying a lot of traditional souvenirs. The owner personally came and met every guest which we rarely get to see these days. the on boat staff never said a no for anything. Wish we had stayed an extra night but overall recommend it to all our friends.

Our stay at this place was fantastic, we occupied all the rooms and the rooms were clean and clean toilets too, but all these place are not senior citizen friendly.... The food was was good and tasty, as we had dinner and breakfast . The staff rashid was very helpful and helped us . The owner Umar was also a decent gentleman and was friendly and accompanying us on the shikara tides. Would recommend this place ... We enjoyed our stay and would want to come back again

Excellent place to be with family. We booked this at the last minute as our trip to Pahalgam was cancelled. We reached late and yet our rooms were kept on hold. That was excellent by the team. Food and rooms were good. Kids enjoyed the stay.The experience at this houseboat was extraordinary. The food was delicious, the service of the houseboat was awesome. best view group of house boat it’s self define real view and best place in dal lake. great view for a morning tea with sunrise with beautiful lotus in the landscape. very hospitable staff. maqsood and adnan were very friendly in making the arrangements from the moment we got picked from shikara till drop off. 👍.
