Canada Houseboats

Stayed here for a night. Overall a good experience, the room was clean, got a welcome kehwa from the caretaker. They make sure of your food preferences (Veg/Non- Veg) and provide accordingly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is coz the dinner/ breakfast was a bit delayed even though they asked for the time we want it served way ahead of time. The other thing I'll like to call out, Shikara are complimentary only for Check-in & Check-out even though that's the only quick source of getting in & out of hotel. For people thinking they can skip Shikara ride since it's part of their Houseboat experience, I would recommend not to. You might end up sharing Shikara's which could spoil your experience with your family.

If you wanna to stay at a place where no one will disturb you, then you can stay here. The best thing is you can view Nageen lake from your room but it is far away from city. You can't get good food here. Food was not good at all. Service and cleanliness was also average. I stayed here for 2 days.

Stay was good. Rooms were clean and beautiful however just one day stay is preferred in a houseboat as hotel like amenities are not available. Food was too costly and that too with very very limited choices. I would advise for just one day stay in a houseboat just for experiencing it.

Mushtaq bhai is very helpful.the hotel arranged for cabs which were economic than the taxi stand fixed rates.they guided and helped us make our rest of the trip also.everyone was very helpful
