Club Mahindra Munnar

1) For check-in it took 2 hrs for handing the room, every time they were saying room is still not ready. 2) They gave me back side room and on request of changing the room they told me that no other room is available, but in truth there were many available rooms 3) No towel, water, room items were available in the room, on calling continuously they gave me water bottle and towel by 5.00 pm 4) There were 2 single bed mattresses on a double bed.. Such a cheap feeling as we are staying in some road side cheap hotels. While sleeping both mattresses were getting split apart by more than 6inches 5) On complaint they told me that they can change my room and give one room which was in front - now question is that why they refused me that there is no other room available when i requested to change my room 6) Finally i change my room, again in that room no towel and no other hotel items like water bottle and soaps were available. On continuously calling them, they gave me these items by 8.00 pm, they told me that we came to the room but you were not available - now again question arrives they don’t they used to have master keys of the room... simple excuse, that’s it 7) At night when we wished to watch TV no remote was available, on calling them 3 times they gave me remote... again.. the remote was not working... then i again called them and scold them and asked where should i complain for all these.. they said they will get it replaced immediately... finally the replacement of remote happened in 10 mins.... wow they were so quick in service, they replaced my remote in 10 mins. 8) Over all, pathetic stay in club mahindra, i will never recommend stay in club mahindra in any of the location

It was a big disappointment for us as we were looking for a room with the beautiful view of the valley.....the hotel unit does not have a balcony and has only partial view .....not worth the money.....secondly in the buffet they concentrated more in veg dishes ...just 3 non veg tasting average again not worth the money spent...this would be my 1st and last stay at club mahindra.....not worth the hype....but if you are a member the rooms are better else the hotel unit is a big no

This is an older well maintained resort. The location is simply spectacular. Having breakfast overlooking the valley is surreal. The staff are excellent and friendly. It is not cheap, but unless you are staying more than 3 days, it's worth the extra for the location within a tea plantation at the top of a hill.

Location of the resort is wonderful with a nice view of tea estate and the beautiful lake. Climate was average due to the season and the overall experience is good. But the staff strength is disproportionate to the occupancy leaving some inconvenience in certain amenities like in restaurant.
