Ghangri Sherpa Luxury Homestay

This Homestay get full marks for so many special treatments to us. We booked one four bedded room. Since the room could accommodate three and one extra bed would make the room less specious, they allocated a double bedroom beside our room free of cost. They provided filament based room heater with a change of Rs.300 per day as the temperature was suddenly dropped to 6. We liked the location as it is free from crowd, with an altitude higher than Darjeeling. Darjeeling is just 45 minutes drive. It would be unfair not to mention that they extended our stay from 11 AM (check out time) to 4 PM free of cost, as I was not well. They own 4 Innova and most of time we got the rate of Wagon R. Finally I will mention about a little opportunities for improvement. Based on my multiple experiences of homestay we expected to have meal as they cook themselves. We were only present In the homestay. They arranged the food of limited variety, made to order by a shop opposite to homestay. We used to go and mention them beforehand and they provided to our room on time. The quality of food was good but needs some improvement in taste.Finally it was awesome experience for us to stay there. The hills are visible from the bed itself. Enter balcony side was glass made which made entire hills visible.Rooms are clean and well maintained. We have enjoyable walk following the train line both sides.

I have visited with my family with 2 men ,4 women and 1 child.it was very nice place. The owner is very good people and provided awesome food. The View of homestay is very beautiful. The owner is very carring and provided all things which is required to a family.
