First of all, I would get this off my chest by saying it is the best homestay in Darjeeling. Let me tell you why!We, a group of four nomad friends, just wanted to get fresh northeastern Himalayan air and luckily we stumbled on this gorgeous and quaint place Darjeeling. We were on the run because of wedding season was ongoing and were always booking hotels. I literally booked Jetavana Homestay minutes before reaching NJP junction. We took shared cabs from Siliguri to Darjeeling and amid the journey, I called "Mr. Bidur", the owner of the homestay. He is probably the sweetest guy we met during our stay in Darjeeling. He actually made his mission to help us every half an hour making sure we reach the destination and are not overcharged by shrewd cabbies. To be honest, it was late, our friends were tired and we weren't expecting much. When we reached we found the property to be so beautiful and well maintained. We were provided with the best clean sheets and blankets and the coziest beds we could ask for. Auntie, made us some delicious hot Maggi so that we don't go to sleep empty stomach as we had reached pretty late. Uncle guided us on almost everything and was pretty honest about the kind of service he was hoping to provide. Loved that honesty. Conversations with Uncle and Auntie were just so cheerful. One thing is for sure. I am going back again to Jetavana Homestay very soon. Thanks once again for that homely hospitality. We were reminded that we were in a homestay and not some commercial hotel. The place is highly recommended for family/friends/couples. Let me just say it in as fewer words possible. If time allowed us, we would stay an extra day just to let Darjeeling sink in.

we are a couple and had a great experience staying at Jetavana. This home stay is run by a couple and they are absolutely best at hospitality and it felt like staying in a proper homestay. we have stayed in many home stays but this is the best sofar. Mr Bidur and Sangeetha are always ready to help when needed and super sweet. would definitely comeback here again. Ps- Thier home is super cute. the small trail that leads to the stay offers some really good views.
