Kashmir Holiday Resort

Rating this 5 purely because of the hospitality and support from the hotel staff. The lake view room gives you a full view of well, the lake, the mountains behind and a beautiful sunrise. The rooms, washrooms are clean and the staff is responsive to your requests. The food at the restaurant is decent, albeit expensive. They tend to take time to prepare food, so you can ideally inform them an hour or two in advance. What literally won my heart was the hospitality from the staff. One of my family members had got hurt in the knee during our travel, as we came back, the manager voluntarily took his personal car and took us to the nearest hospital; and waited for us throughout the medication process. I've never experienced this kind of support anywhere. The staff and its hospitality.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all to anyone. This is far away from facilities. I feel like I have wasted my chunk of money. Very poor service, no hotline/intercom working, no wifi in our room, poor quality see-through curtains, mattress smaller than bed.. what not !! Used body-wash, lotion in the washroom. Used soap was still lying there in the washroom.. we checked in late than our expected time, still we had to wait for 15-20 minutes as “room was getting cleaned”. Our breakfast was included so as soon as we reach in their restaurant and started putting some stuff in out plate, somebody came and tapped at shoulder than your buffet is not included, no doubt it was cleared in minutes and we were able to have breakfast but it was so embarrassing. Overall very poor experience.

Wonderful hospitality, location & view.. room, bedding, bathroom & floor are hygiene, clean & comfort with premium quality material. Room is spacious, luxurious & well-equipped. Resort is surrounded by trees, greenery & beautiful birds. Amazing & beautiful view of lake & mountain infront of resort. Good air conditioning inside room. Staff & owner both are friendly & helpful. They are ready ever to serve you. We stayed here for two nights & I strongly recommend to stay here only if you want to enjoy peaceful & memorable holiday. Familiar atmosphere, fast service, kindness, good food, facility inside room, hygienist, beautiful view etc.

Big and beautiful rooms, well maintained. Big property with stunning view of orchid, lake, and mountains. Staff is so courteous and kind. I had wonderful time here for two night stay. Food is good, owner himself seats and eats the same food amongst other guests. Location is perfect too, away from all the noises and horns. Calm, peaceful, serene place. Definitely staying here again in my next visit.
