Hotel Kings Castle

The location is difficult to find. Further nowhere Hotel Name board is displayed on the premises. No one in near by area and also in the society wherein hotel is situated is aware about existence of said hotel. Security person at entrance had resisted us from entering in the area as he was not aware about the existence of hotel and thus wasted our 45 minutes thereat arguing . The entry was allowed only after we could established contact with owner of premises. It is row house in the residential colony converted into lodging facility and not a proper hotel ... Initially we were scared to stay from personal security point of view as the said house is situated in the remote area of colony does not have sufficient light around it. ....

We had late evening arrival at Guwahati airport and the next day early morning departure for Tezpur. This hotel is ideally located near airport for such cases as other hotels are several km away in the city. The hotel manager picked and dropped us at the airport at a charge of INR250 each way which was very convenient as we were apprehensive of getting cab at late/early hours. We had ordered dinner before we reached the hotel and thus were served freshly cooked food. The amenities such as bathroom etc are basic but was not expecting much at the price. All in all a very friendly family guesthouse with Ellie, the pet, to welcome you at the door!

Hotel is good but location is very remote. finding the location is realy very diffecult. Service is good but food cost is too high. Main attaction of this hotel is the view if nature and airport from room or from attic.

The hotel was very very hard to find. And it is not a hotel. It is a room in a house. For 3 adults I paid 1600 which I felt was too much for the 2 iron cots provided. Pictures were deceiving.
