We had a pleasant experience at the Chocolate box, we had stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel is so beautifully taken care of. Latief uncle is the charm of the hotel, he is so humble and caring. Hotel has a nice ambience, right in front of Dal lake and at an excellent location. Highly recommended.

No Hot Water In The Bathroom
I Have Booked A Stay For 2 Nights, But Had To Check Out In A Day Due To Pathetic Service

We stayed at Chocolate box in Srinagar near D lake for almost a week. It was a workation for us. The stay was amazing and latif uncle is very friendly and always ready to assist with respect to travel or any other queries. The view from the hotel is directly of the dal lake. The food is also very tasty abd made as per your requirements. Rooms are clean with room service available round the clock

latif sahab is the owner of the hotel. he is a true gentleman. I booked my stay for this hotel for 2 days as the location is perfect facing the dal lake.
Secondly after seeing my family, he obliged and gave us the front facing room. He is a very hospitable personality. I personally advice everyone to stay at the chocolate box everytime they visit srinagar. He spent time with my family and made them feel like home. Truly a very nice human being.(Mr. Latif)

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful.Hotel rooms are very neat and clean with all facilities.Service is very good. Food quality & taste is very nice. Hotel has enough space for parking and all this at an affordable price.Above all the location of the hotel is in itself a treat to eyes.

we stayed at the hotel in april. it was the right decision. first of all the location is very convinient on dal lake. everything is close by. the market, restaurants, shopping. coming to the hotel, the rooms are the cleanest i have seen . housekeeping does a really fine job. The room decor is very soothing , lot of woodwork. we found the hotel to be very calm, not noisy at all as its located near dal. we ordered food at the restaurant and my son loved the manchurian. Would love to book again next summer. good luck
