Constitution work was going on. It has a basement 4th floor downwards no lift nothing, you will feel clostrophobic. I would suggest don't book this hotel from goibibo. First visit the property before booking.

The staff was very cooperative no doubt but my room was on the 4th floor downwards in the basement and there was no lift. Most importantly the room felt very clostrophobic, I would suggest you to book your room in this hotel after physically checking it. Otherwise avoid this hotel. I have to change my room after paying some extra amount because I have no other option because the hotel manager refused to cancel the booking. I won't recommend this hotel.

It's a good hotel with great location and valley view from premium rooms (with balcony). Noise free environment. Some construction work is going on which is causing noise these days. There is no lift in hotel, so check the floor of your room before booking else be ready to go downstairs by minimum one floor till 3 floors down the ground floor. Staff is very helpful and quick in service. Hotel is 3 Km before the Chail Bazaar which is normally called City Centre. Hotel is on Chail Kufri Road.

Recently i have booked a hotel room for one night at Hotel Grand Sunset, Chail, from 22-23 June, 2024. I have booked deluxe room. For your kind information, at the time of booking, showed four variant of rooms at this hotel. Out of those, I have booked deluxe room(which include partial valley view) to have good view of valley. Stay was not pleasant. After several requests the TV got repaired after 3-4 hours of check-in. Cleanliness is near to zero. I need to ask the person to clean table chair etc in the room, basic cleanliness is missing. In bathroom, the pot was leaking water while flush everytime. This creates a sense of bad experience everytime we go to toilet. Food is average not bad not good. However, the hotel owner is good and say yes to your request but the staff and service and the quality one can expect is poor. Overall not a pleasent experience at all.
