Excellent hospitality and behaviour from the hosts, great tour of farm, excellent view from balcony, tidy rooms, nice bonfire experience, delicious vegetarian food. Non-vegetarian food allowed, but only in the premises of the room due to religious beliefs, which should be respected. The only two things that can be improved are information about food prices and cupboards in the rooms. Food was slightly more expensive due to the remote location, but we were not expecting that higher price. It woul ...more

The best part is its location. Its 35k from Darjeeling and around 30 km from Kalimpong. It's far all the city buzz. Karan was a wonderful host and I am glad to have met his family. Fruits on his farm are delicious and a must-try. Coming to the cottage itself it's a beautiful duplex very soothing balcony on the first floor, and all this for your family alone. No sharing even though we were just two of us. easy accessibility to the cottage and chirping of birds never stop.
