This is our first time in Kashmir and we stayed at old palace houseboat for one and we had a great time and the houseboat is fully airconditioned and these houseboat have the best roof top that you can enjoy the best views and spend the most of the time on the roop top. These houseboat are very very neat and clean. The food is like home made. Beautiful location and the staff is very very helpful and they make sure that you had the best time on these houseboats

i am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding my recent houseboat stay in srinagar, which was **not as per the booking made for “houseboat old palace.”** instead, we were taken to a **completely different houseboat**, and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
here are the key issues we faced:

Extremely worse. Their behaviour is so rude as if they are doing a favour for us allowing to stay in their houseboat. Had a good desire of staying in Dal Lake houseboat because of which stayed in this houseboat but after my trip I have decided of not going there again. Extremely worse experience. Request people to go for other houseboats in first lane but not this for sure.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Palace Houseboat!
Pros:
- Reasonably priced
- Electric bed was a wonderful surprise!
Cons:
- Food options were limited/disappointing
Overall, it was a nice experience, and we appreciated the unique amenities.

I recently stayed at old palace Houseboat in Srinagar, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jahangir, our host, who was exceptionally helpful and kind. His hospitality made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Had a fantastic time on the houseboat!
The boat was clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
The staff Mr. farooq, were very friendly and attentive.
Our stay was comfortable and wonderful experience.
