It was pathetic. Not recommending to any one. It was wastage of money. The condition of Royal lodge house boat is totally opposite of its name.

My stay was very good and I enjoyed it. The hospitality by Feroz and family was extraordinary. Starting from the evening tea, dinner to the early morning breakfast it was all very good. We booked 2 rooms and they were very net and clean and the bathroom too was good size and very clean. I would definitely like to get back here if I ever plan to visit Srinagar again.

The house boat is good but it is second in the second raw....the break fast is good and the rooms are average but it is good at this budget.... good service provided by Mr Firoz..he is a good person..

Kashmir is known for its beautiful places and its wonderful environment. What everyone keeps missing out on is the beauty of the people living there as well. Royal lodge is located right in the heart of Dal lake with very good and accessible shikhara service from the Ghat no. 7 (our shikhara rides were free of charge because of our booking). The owner who runs the place, Firoze, is a very good person. He runs the business now and is a great host. We went there as a couple and stayed for 4 nights ...more
