The stay was average. The food is homely but very expensive and you have no choices. The staff is good but ~~
After the booking, we were not able to connect with the number provided at all - they were not picking up the call so we figured the ghat number and then found their shikara by asking each and every shikara owner. Took us one hour to figure out theirs.
You can practically hear everything from other rooms (EVERYTHING).
So if you dont have the entire houseboat to yourself, better stay ...more

Rooms were not clean..washroom was smelling.It took 1 hours to find this house boat after reaching Dal Lake.house boat owner was not receiving call..House boat which we got was very different from the ones we had seen But the food was good, like the taste of home.

houseboat is very old in condition, their bed and floor sound too much , infact we were unable to sleep whole night due to its sound
food taste was good 👍
they provided heater for 2 hours which was not enough in cold days but still it's a relief
water in bathroom was smelly , blue in color and very dirty
the staff of houseboat are always in rush for check out of staff they will ask you multiple time about it since morning
overall I would never suggest anyone to stay there

my experience is not so good with this. room is ok but bed sheet and pillow all are dusty. neither breakfast nor dinner was good.

it was fun and felt like queen while shopping in house boat itself; moreover staff members were cooperative and nice nature, we felt like home there. Although everything was top of the world, yet food was not up to the expectations.

* staff behaviour was good
* food was good in taste and hygenic
* there was room heater but they are charging extra amount for it
* there were no sleepers provided inside this boat house
* lastly the bed was broken from one side
so overall experience in this boat house was average... it needs to be improved.

First of all, Montreal group does not own any houseboats. They have tie-ups with various houseboats and a lot as per bookings. Our Houseboat in charge was so busy managing a few more houseboats. We were ringing him again and again for dinner and morning tea. We requested morning tea by 7.00 am. But; they served it by 8.30 am.No kettle and tea bags with sugar were available to help ourselves in houseboat.Further, I doubt whether they change the bed linen and pillow covers.I noticed a few long hai ...more
