the hotel was more or less comfortable. rooms, cleanliness and service were all good. the only problem we faced was with the horrible reception. the unit manager ( or so he claimed) was very rude to the level of being verbally abusive. our only fault was that check in was from 2 pm and we reached at 12.30 (as we were travelling for almost 4 hrs 30 minutes from okhrey). he refused early check in and it was fine because we had already decided to go on sightseeing. he refused to book a cab for us a ...more

The positive of this hotel is its location and the view of the mountain from the room. The negatives are 1. The main door was broken i.e. had (gaps) in the door from which cold air enters all night. Same with the bathroom window. 2. The restaurant service was bad. It took us close to 90 mins to get our dinner. When inquired for the delay no explanation was provided. additionally breakfast spread was very limited.

We had a great stay at Mount Magnolia. The rooms are spacious, has a sofa cum bed and has also got a beautiful view from the window. They provide kettle and tea/coffee facilities inside the room. Their staffs are very prompt in serving the customers. The foods were tasty but expensive. Their breakfast buffet is awesome. They provide toiletries with makeup mirror and a hair-drier as well in the bathroom. Only request to them is if they can arrange a lift then it will help people accomodated in th ...more

we stayed here only for 1 night. location and hotel is good and clean. it is just that the hotel room and restaurant got so many tiny insects, may be due to the greenry around it . food tastes good. they get a power cut for few hours from the midnight till 7 in the morning as per government instructions (this is what they have coneyed to us).
