The positive side of this place is the location, situated right in midst of the city & close proximity to forest entrance. So if don't want to waste your time, getting to main attraction of Periyar (Thekaddy) which boat safari/jeep safari & market, you should consider this place. If you are expecting this to be a hotel, than you are expecting too much. This is more of homestay & for us it was ok. Road is narrow, no hot water, TV voice poor. Though I paid for the non-ac double room they wanted to put up another guest to my room

Its very interior on small road and no shops near by. have to ewalkatleast 1km for any hotel
