I was skeptical about Ambadi estate when I booked as of the location and the services they offered. But as soon as we reached, we felt awesome. The place is well kept, has great food and is quite calm and silent. Situated around 7kms from Munnar town at Pallivasal, The place is ideally located and you could avoid the town traffic and noise. The road to Ambadi estate from the main road around 250 meters is a little rough but if you have an SUV or a good car you needn't worry much, They frequently repair this road, so not much worries there. Just make sure you drive slow here. The cottages are beautiful. Plan as to spend the evening at Ambadi, with the fog coming in it is really beautiful. We were in for a surprise the next morning as we woke up to the chirping of birds on the blackberry tree. There were a lot of trees at the place and we loved it. The sunrise if you can catch is one view. They also allow trekking to their plantation, the little wilderness they offer is beautiful. They have official trekking in season time is what we heard. Spend the morning in your beautiful cottage, watch the sunrise and just before or after breakfast go on the trekking path for a few minutes. Overall we loved the stay at Ambadi and would definitely be back. Take your car if possible they will also arrange for car or jeep if you request. A note of thanks also to Mahendran chettan and the wonderful staff at Ambadi. Much recommended. Have a happy stay.

This was a long pending review but I wanted to make sure I spend some time on writing this review. So here it is! my first ever goibibo review, thanks to the wonderful service by Ambady Estate! I went there to spend a weekend with my girl gang and it was absolutely worth it. Friendly staff, great location, freshly cooked food, Cozy cottages with a nice backyard garden overlooking tea estates, clean and hygienic : ) It takes about 3.5-4 hrs to reach form Kochi airport, the hotel helped us arranging pick and drop service. Once you reach the hotel, you will be welcomed with a hot and warm spice tea. Cottages are spread over the property which ensures your privacy. Double height rooms are spacious enough for a small family. My personal favourite was a study corner with a full window overlooking mountains !

Ambady Estate's stay was one ...of an experience.Right from the emerald hued mountains to the fluffy clouds coming right to our room, every thing was nature kissed. Amazing hospitality from the owner and his staff, be it the ever smiling Baiju, ( who also got fresh flowers wreath for me😊) chirpy Mahendra, and soft spoken and and a true gentleman Anand... The food was great though the service takes a little while to be brought.... If you are lucky enough then you may also spot a celebrity relaxing in a cottage next to yours, as we did ... Can't wait to be back to recreate some more memorable memories....

this is superb place to stay, awesome food and service quality, staff are friendly & familiar, away from crowd, peace place. if anyone want to enjoy nature, trekking, bird watching, must stay there in munnar. cardamom plantation was really huge, cottage was beautiful n quite big. overall it was a great experience there . manu, Mahendran feel us special in dinning area. food was delicious, Thanks to cook for such a good breakfast n dinner.

There are 4 blocks and 2 cottages per block. We stayed in C2. The reception building is very beautiful and well maintained. The cottages are also decently maintained. We are well received by Byju. The estate is a total of 125 acres. and half of it is cardamom. We totally go there next time. The hike into the cardamom estate is very pleasant.

One of the most memorable and best hotel/resort of my life. Full of greenery, comfort, awesome location, nature friendly and couple friendly. I stayed for 2 days in Dec 2015 and even after 2 yrs I remember this hotel. Unforgettable experience. Hotel room design is also of best class. Every one should visit once to this hotel.

The stay in Ambady Estate was awesome. Nice location, nice interior. You will forget all your tension. one of the best place to stay. The staff are good, they are taking good care of the guest. The food was tasty and on time. I will definitely book this cottage when I visit Munnar again.

Very good hotel cum nature park where you will feel yourself in the lap of mother nature. Staff is very good helpful, best dinner i had in my entire trip and very cheap compare to other 4 star properties. Must stay in Ambady estate. This hotel is above all 4* & 5* properties.

it was a very good place to stay . the best cottage experience in munnar. good amneties . worth the money. hospitality was excellent . food was very good . instead of staying in hotels like munnar queen you can prefer ambady estate . where you can closely relate to nature.
