Bracknell Forest

I had planned for a place outside the city and when I reached here, I decided I made the right choice. The hospitality (oh my god) was seriously so good and everyone in the resort were so friendly and kind. Any dish I ordered they delivered in hardly 10 mins and tea/coffee hardly took 5 mins. This place is 10km from Munnar and is quite refreshing living amidst the cardomom plantation. The scenic view from the balcony was really great with birds chirping. The food was really delicious and we'll served. This resort is definitely a safe and decent place for family and couples. Note: This resort is for nature lovers and want to have a pleasant vacation outside of the traffic and pollution. The roads are a bit narrow and you need to have a personal vehicle to reach here else you need to hire one. The resort guys were very kind to share an reliable Auto contact fluent in Tamil and Malayalam (I am sure he knows other languages too) who was very also very good. We were very comfortable with the Auto person and asked him to take us for a day trip around Munnar. The charges were quite reasonable. The route to resort from is walled by plantations and forests on both sides (quite refreshing) and a travel at night in a rain is really really superb experience. When my day outing slipped beyond the evening, I was lucky enough to enjoy such a trip. In short, this resort is definitely worth for the cost.

special note before hand. ...very very important ..don't trust the google Maps ,just use the alternate route ,or call the hotel directly unless you have a jeep or something for some off road expert because the road is soo bad .the alternate route is fine so use that please. About the place ,this stay is for people who want to stay away from the city and experience the forest ,it's speciality is the sound of the forest which is so pleasant and mind refreshing 💟.. it's location is prime and beautiful.the air is so fresh and refreshing the rooms are soo nice with balcony ,neat clean wash rooms and all..no complaints at all ..no need of ac of course and then 24 hrs hotwater . the service staff was soo good , especially josettan.u can get anything you want . only con is that restaurant closes by 9 30pm and you have to get everything before that if you have late night appetite. we have no choice but to eat from the restaurant as this place is 10kms from the munnar town.but guess what food is soo tasty and good. when you come via the alternate route you can see the tea gardens on way which you can stop and take good photos for Your profile pics and believe me this place itself has lot of places to take your camera skills to Use. lastly there is indoor games like carroms and cards which you can try. I stayed with my family and overall it was a very pleasant experience 🙂

our stay in Bracknell Forest resort was awesome.. their service is very fast.. very friendly and supportive staff.. very neat and clean and nicely maintained beautiful rooms in midst of nature.. view from balcony is good.. food is delicious.. if you are planning for vacation in Munnar will recommend this place for stay.. though on google maps, it shows 22 kms from Munnar but rhere is a shortcut from Munnar to this place which is just 7 kms and path is better than one shown in google maps..

The hotel is situated around 9 kms from Munnar this is the one and only demerit of the place. apart from that every thing is perfect. between nature, spacious room, good food, good staff. they can have more options for breakfast. apart from these two small things that can be ignored this hotel is recommended for ppl coming to munnar for enjoying nature.
