Palette - The Slate Hotel Nungambakkam

Poor service. Bad behavior. I feel , no value for the money I paid. 11:45 i reached the place....check in time was 12.....rooms were not ready. no proper reception, the place looks like a dark shabby corner. I waited til 1210. I had a plan to checkin and go to office but it was getting late...I asked the reception guy to allow me to checkin . He denied to do it on his system and said u hav paid u hav a room blocked . No courtesy no empathy. Then i left to office. I came back at 6...he gave me a deep corner room..the floor was so shabby.....literally black color...he said they removed carpet that's why it looks like that. He said no other rooms...he was stern and rude to say...no other option they have. I paid ..and I don have an option in the last minute ..so i checked in. I was just there to sleep....6 hrs...and got out of the place soon.

we had tried to contact the hotel as we had to check in early and freshen up for a visa appointment at 11. but the hotel staff had put in a different hotel's number as their own and were thus, unreachable.when we reached the place early, the staff was extremely rude and refused an early checkin despite us explaining the situation. when we asked them to atleast check their database if there are any rooms, they denied and asked us to cancel the stay. after checking in at 12,the room we were given was completely different from the one we booked and looked nothing alike. the walls were leaking and basic amenities weren't available. overall a poorly maintained hotel rooms and property, and rude customer service.never booking at this hotel again!

I had booked a Deluxe Room with breakfas , but the experience was extremely disappointing. They gave me a substandard, unhygienic room instead, and the TV wasn’t working. At check-in, they demanded extra payment, claiming the amount paid wasn’t sufficient—even though I had already paid in full. They also did not provide the breakfast that was included in my booking. Overall, it was the worst customer service, and the place was poorly maintained and unclean. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

while check in they given a uncleaned room..after complaining to the reception they told if you want to change the room it will be extra chargeable ..i m not accepting that so they changed the room..while check out also I'm facing same issues..they stopped me in out side road because of linen was stained they charged extra amount for that which is not mentioned on hotel rules ...
