Royal Retreat

Starting with the one line review, this place is awesome, mind blowing, freaking fantastic and the best in Munnar. The location is perfect, it's just around 1-3kms from Munnar town. The view in front if the place is mind blowing with a hill and a football court. Hydel park is situatied right next to this hotel where you can do peddle boating and there is flower show as well (which is an annual thing). The rooms are so clean and the staff is so friendly. There is plenty of parking place so not to worry about that. We had our own vehicle so no idea about rentals and stuff. The service is amazing . You have wifi and complementary breakfast for everyone. There is a mini refrigerator in each rooms. I suggest travelers to check-in early as you can get the cottage kind of rooms which are the best. There is small garden and a small children play area. I had been to Munnar for three days and I stayed in different hotels every day. Out of the three, I say this is the best . We paid around ...for one night for 3 guests. The bed is too big that you can sleep comfortably. This is the best hotel according to me. Smoking and alcohol is banned in the lawn and the restaurant. The restaurant is also ok. You get north Indian and south Indian foods including a special Kerala menu.

hotel location is superb,it is free from the rush of the city yet it is very much accessible to almost all localities,food served was very tasty and neat,service of staff was excellent,the most beautyful attraction of this hoter is the colourfull garden and park in this hotel which provided us a good ambience,this hotel is near to hydel park,but this hotels garden is far far better than hydelpark,it is very close to ksrtc bus depot and town,thank u for a comfrble stay,room was good,we booked regular rooms,which was enough for a family 2 children,there was hot water supply in morning and evening for 2 hours,

Location is perfect next to the Hydel park...aptly away but not too far from the crowded Town. Also it is right at the center of the four ways leading to attractions around Munnar. Hotel itself has a beautiful well maintained Garden (close to Resort style) to spend time leisurely, they serve refreshments to Garden and play area also. Restaurant food are tasty with nominal pricing. Recommend to choose Deluxe Rooms facing Garden. Front desk people are very helpful too.

Comfortable stay at Royal Retreat, Munnar. They provided deluxe room for regular room booking. Breakfast and even evening coffee also was complimentary. Room was neat and clean and the staff members behaved friendly. The garden in front of the Hotel is splendid and well maintained.Tasty food, coffee and Tea. Single storied Eco friendly Building close to high way but offers comfortable accommodation.
