This hotel offers a beautiful view of the Dal lake n the Hari Parbat fort, especially when it is lit at night. The rooms r good, n we were given lake viewing rooms on the 3rd floor, which offers one of the better views. The bathroom is a basic one, but has a large geyser which is quite an advantage in the chill. The restaurant is in the process of renovation of its, which was affected during the floods last September, n hence food is available only from another place, they have tied up with. The power backup is not adequate as often we had power cuts for half an hour or so. But since the weather was pleasant, we were comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to everyone wishing to have a good view of the Dal lake n its surroundings, without much wants of luxurious rooms.

hotel staff is very cooperative and owner himself take keen interest in making sure that everyone is looked after properly. I recently visited the place for 2days. its located at very good location. behind you can see shankaracharya temple and in front beautiful dal lake full of houseboat. I had booked for normal room but when I reached they upgraded it to suite which was a pleasant surprise. Kashmir had hit with flood last year and is a volatile place but that should not stop anybody to visit Kashmir. its very safe and serene for tourist....may god bless all those people

Hotel is good and stay was very beautiful. Satisfied what i have paid and what i have got. Hotel people are very nice and very co operative, provide an excellent service over there. Food was very delicious and hygienic also. Hotel is located on the prime location and easy to find the hotel. Nice accommodation and hospitality was available over there. Regarding cleanliness its a very neat and clean.

very good service and location ,very near to main market and opposite to dal gate. i stayed on this hotel as on 09 and 10 may this hotel.location is awesom.dont go to negative views and book this hotel if you plannning to srinagar. thanks hotel shahabbas to make our trip memorable.

If you wish to see the scenic beauty of Srinagar, Shah Abbas is the best location to stay in. Wide open dal lake view and all favorite shikara boats gives great feeling of personified Srinagar. Thanks for the warm reception!

Hotel is just side to dal lake and opposite to ghat no 10.. If u r having a room with lake facing u r lucky... It gives mind blowing view of dal lake and the cool fort in lights... Service and cleanliness also great...

Hotel location is very good. Breakfast was not so good but ok. Room given was in very good location lake view .Bathroom was also with new fittings.Room was neat and clean. I am happy with what I have spent for room.

Hotel is nice and beautiful , cheaper on goibibo , has a nice front view of Dal lake , has a nice back view of mountains. Service are nice . If wifi is freely available then it will be the best hotel to book.

Location of Hotel is awsome, it is just in front of Dal lake and if u go for rear view beautiful mountains are there. Service and food quality is very good.
