Overall experience is great. It has a scenic beauty and relaxing ambiance. Rooms are clean and hygienic and spacious. Parking is available for cars inside hotel. Buffet Breakfast is simple but good in taste. parantha's boiled eggs toast poha cornflakes and coffee tea available. The best highlight was we got good whisky classes to enjoy our drinks even the best hotels like combermere, marina etc lack this. Trust me I have stayed at all those hotels. Please don't compare it with Oberoi cecil. Price in itself speaks a huge difference. Rooms are worth 3k-5k any day. hotel is a little far from mall road starting i.e clerks hotel but walk does no harm expect it to be a steep elevated walk for 1.25 km one way. Relaxing ambiance, beautiful scenic beauty and overlooking hills and roads. Quite place to enjoy a long stay.

Great place to stay at Shimla. very spacious room and bathroom. Nice lawn and sitting area outside. beautiful view as well when you are in the lawn outside. in-house restaurant is also quite good. room heater was provided. bathroom also had water heater, both were very convenient. place is bit away from the mall road. if you are looking to stay very near to the mall road this is not the place. however hotel owner will arrange taxi to go to mall road for Rs 250 one way. even for any other sightseeing they can arrange Taxi. only suggestion for the hotel owners, please note some fixes are needed for door knobs, handles etc. make sure all doors are closeable properly etc. thank you for the awesome stay at Shimla!

It was an amazing stay in Springfield, which was constructed 1902. Felt like stayed in a palace. They maintained the heritage structure in a beautiful way. The breathtaking Shimla view from the courtyard can make your evening beautiful. Maintained nice garden outside. Coming to the services provided , I met polite and helpful Staffs and authorities. Surendar Sir served food and services and his services need to be quoted. Overall food , ambience, service everything was 👍

we wanted a hotel away from mall road Chaos... this hotel was perfect for us and located in chota shimla... It's a heritage property... rooms are clean as well as washroom.... it has a nice garden from where you will get a good view of mountain.... staffs are well behaved and helpful... they have in house resturant but it's little bit expensive.... overall we had an wonderful stay....

This is a very nice property totally isolated from the city's hustle and bustle. It was originally a palace of Dhyaan Singh which has since then been converted into a hotel (hence, a heritage hotel.) We took the room with a fireplace and it was the biggest hotel room we had ever been in. PS. they do charge you extra for the fireplace setup. We paid around 900 bucks extra.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay at Springfields, the staff and service were amazing. The rooms were huge compared to other hotels and it was well maintained. The overall environment was really calm, pleasant and it really gives you a soothing effect. By far it was my best stay in Shimla ever. And would like to thank you the entire staff to be so well behaved and professional.

If you aren’t looking for luxury, and just want to enjoy some quiet time with extraordinarily beautiful views, this is the hotel for you. The staff, particularly Varun, was pretty helpful throughout our 3N stay. We only had one meal at the hotel since my husband and I are vegans, but that one meal was worth every penny!

This is a heritage property built almost 120 years ago.view is awesome, so serene.mall road is just a km away.Mr Dayal, the manager of this place is very friendly.All the interiors are very artistic.Gives you a royal feeling..Overall a must recommend!!

An amazing stay. Food is great and so are the staff. They make you feel at home . Excellent view from the lawn too. It's a beautiful heritage property a little away from the mall. Loved it. Will stay there again if I go to Shimla.

Amazing stay. They had good garden space. During snowfall whole garden was covered with snow. The heater provided was working properly, so we were saved from chilling cold. Great service and behaviour of staff.
