To escape from the harsh effects of heat, we were narrowing hill stations till we finally zeroed in on Gangtok... While perusing for accommodations, we had many suggestions online, but Daksha caught my eye only and only for its rooms... The pics were quite good... So I casually blocked an elite suite room for us and called up the hotel.. I was answered by Vishal bro. Right from then on, all my queries and doubts were well clarified and an itinerary was prepared accordingly. Right from pick up from NJP to hotel, sightseeing and finally dropping us back to NJP, everything was arranged proficiently.. Mansi, from reception was very patient with our requests and was there to help us throughout the stay... My kids instantly made a good rapport with their Mansi didi🥰 The check in was smooth... The room was excellent!!! It met every aspect of my expectation.. The room was very neat, spacious and beds were placed very meticulously... There was a kettle provided along with tea bags, coffee powders, milk powders and sugar... THE FOOD The food from Daksha was too good.. Just the right amount of spice and cooked deliciously to our delight... Other than the sight seeing situation where we had to eat from outside, we had the food, rest of the times from Daksha only... The wait time is about 30 min as they cater as per order but it compensates in taste and flavour... We were very impressed by the variety of veg dishes available and the authenticity in which they were prepared... Happy tummy Happy us.... ❤❤❤ Over all *Very comfortable stay *Lovely ambience *Friendly and hospitable staff *Great food and ammenities

We stayed in Daksha Tarayana in ths week 1 of January. The stay was confortable, spacious rooms, nice food and good seevice overall. Amol as an administrator is good & sharp in handling our stay and city travel. Pros - Spacious rooms Good service Nice view from Mountain view rooms Cons Though ths hotel is not far but daily cabs way too much towards any other part of Sikkim Barring thjs Con all goes well

"I had an amazing 4-day stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure all my needs were met with a smile. The experience was great at this hotel. The rooms were quite big with amazing views of the mountain, and the room service was also very good. But this hotel is about 15 mins from MG Marg, so shared taxies are not easily available. Most of the time, we had to reserve one.

The hotel is great and vew from windows is wonderful. Staff and restaurant is also good, but hotel is not near M.G Marg, you have to take a taxi to go to M.G Marg.

the hotel is awesome. mountain view from hotel room is great, but it's not near m.g marg, you have to reserve taxi to go to m.g marg or vice versa.
