We family of 5, stayed in Hotel Nek from 29/12 to 31/01 to Visit Maa Vaishno Devi Pros 1/ Hotel/Rooms are good 2/ Manger was Good, * Gave Travel guidance *Showed us new Deluxe rooms under renovation for future booking. 3/ Hotel has affilated shop just outside the hotel. gave better price for thing compare to markets. 4/ Staff were helpful & Good in Service 5/ Hotel has Small Restaurant & also provide Room Service 6/ Food is reasonably good compare to local Restaurant near by. 7/ Location away from crowded area & peaceful. 10mins walk from Katra Bus/Taxi Stand. 8/ Many small local restaurant, shops, Chat wala, available on the way to katra bus stand 9/ All Staff are local young boys, eager to help & reasonable dress. Cons 1/ No Lifts 2/ Hotwater was available 10-15mins after start gesyer. *If you want hot water than Don't use Wash Basin & Toilet, otherwise you have to wait for another 10-15 mins for water to Boil & use. 3/ Had to ask for Fresh Towels. Towels are old. Others : Did use Aircon as it was Very Cold in katra

Hotel very near to railway station 900meter only if you are going with less luggage u can easily walk no need for auto also located at good location easily accessible to market staff is friendly and courteous. Rooms are good neat and clean with nice Trikuta hills view. food is also delicious and fresh served. overall good experience worth the money. only con was few small cockroaches were seen in the room but they did spray. would recommend the place to stay whenever you visit the place. also a suggestion if planning to walk up the hill don't go for the older path the new built track is convenient and well provided with amenities. Don't eat at jewel and Devi restaurant very bad food served

Very pleasant experience. Nothing to complain.Pure value for money.pick up & drop provided from/to Bus stand (and also for railway station).Cleanliness- Clean rooms and bathrooms. Food- Tasty food, very good.Wi-Fi available. Staff- All were cooperative to us.View from hotel was very nice.We will always book this hotel in future.I don't know why ratings are so less. In fact I liked it more.I booked 1 night, so complete value for the money you spend.This hotel stay was best ever for us in Katra.(Review by Rajesh Mukhija, Alwar, Rajasthan)Cooperative staff, nice time spent. We were 4 persons but booked room for 3 (as they don't have for 4), but they didn't charge a single ₹ for extra person.

Hotel is at the convenient location... easily reachable from Railway station, it is on the helipad road which makes it more accessible... I had complimentary pickup and Drop from the hotel... it is near to bhanganga point from where the trek to vaishno devi Mata mandir starts... ro views is also awesome... u can see the whole trekk path from the hotel and hill view. polite hotel staff and co-operative.
