Hotel October Sky

Pros : - It's location is exactly in M.G Marg. - If u r not driving ur personal vehicle then u should definitely book this. (Note : There are 100's of hotel near MG Marg, so opt for the best) Cons : - Staff are indisciplined except there manager Anurag. - Don't get fooled by looking at parking availability as there is none. (I had just filtered "parking" option, SIkkim has scarcity of parking and it's tough to get one). - No lift facilities : If u get some room in 3rd or 4th floor then u ve to carry ur weight all the way climbing the stairs. Alternative for parking : Therz a govt registered parking slot very close to this hotel (for local taxi) u ll get the parking in it for 2/4 wheelers in an hourly/daily basis but the prices are high... so plan accordingly. Food : I didn't wanted to have food in hotel, as there are plenty of options in MG Marg(like Agarwals) It's an OK experience for me.

there was no air conditioner and the manager tried to denied my check-in also. such a rude and careless behaivour is unexpected and the room service was very poor and staff never provided even water or clean linens. the hotel manager gave reasons that the staff was absent and blah blah. there were stains on towels which they provided, when i asked to change it they told it washed, but clearly it was dirty. the chair also in my room was broken but still i managed. so guys dont book this hotel..

avg hotel, cleanliness is need to be focussed more, only the manager is friendly he tried his best to resolve problems single handed, staffs lazy did not even open the main entry at 7.30am, had to be called repeatedly during checkout

Property location was excellent. Staff behavior was excellent. Room size were small otherwise everything was good. For couple they allow but didn't provide room to bachelor.
