Gangtok Peacock Hotel - Horrible ExperienceAt the time of booking, they showed a Suite category room with mountain views and added many services like TV, housekeeping, and a geyser. However, during check-in, their true colors were revealed. They offered a normal category room without the promised mountain views and demanded extra charges I faced harassment and had to wait up to 2 hours for check-in; they did not honor the hotel voucher timing. The geyser was also not working.Overall, my experience was terrible.

It's a very small hotel near Deorali Taxi stand. You get easy shared cabs at Rs 20 per head to MG Marg. Food at the hotel is a disaster and is served at a very slow pace. After the dinner on Day 1, we decided to skip the food at hotel and try eating momos enroute. Overall service is also pretty average. On the first day, we were given just 1 towel ( we were a family of 3) as the laundry guy was not there. The tea machine in the room was also not operational. The room was small and pretty basic.

This hotel in deorali is a fraud . I had already booked my stay and payed in advance through upi but when i reached to hotel they denied to let us checkin they said after paying cash the money will be refunded dont worry i am the owner of hotel but after checkout when i called the owner for refund he said please go through the app but app didn't helped. Now the owner isin't picking my call

this property is really good very polite and helpful staff . rooms are very spacious super deluxe rooms are also available with very beautiful outside views. Everything is fine but food is little expensive . hassle free check in for unmarried couple.
