Viceroy Hotel

Great Hospitality! Cozy Rooms! Magnificent Kanchenjunga View! Delicious Cuisines! Super Friendly Staffs! The Stay: If I would like to say what was the best part of our Darjeeling trip, I will call it Hotel Viceroy. The rooms were well maintained with all the minute nitty-gritty. You can have a full view of the Clock Tower and if you are lucky enough you can see mighty Kanchenjunga from the room as well. I would highly suggest not to visit Tiger Hill if you are staying in Hotel Viceroy since the view you will experience from the upper deck is even better plus you don't have to wake up at midnight to reach Tiger Hill. The Food: If you are someone who likes to avoid junk foods or overcrowded restaurants at your vacation, I would suggest to try out Hotel Viceroy's fine dine restaurant. They serve quality food which are made with utter hygiene and you will get a homely taste too. You can get a variety of cusines viz. Chinese Cuisine, Indian Cuisines, English Cuisine. The breakfast buffet also has a loads of option. The Staff: Everyone from the Viceroy team are extremely helpful and super friendly. They are ready to hear all your concerns. I would like to give a big thanks to Mr. ARINDAM SEN. He is a person with great hospitality skills and you will love to have a conversation with him. The way he interacts with every guests seems like he knows each one of them. The way he manages each and everything in the property is very professional. Overall we were very pleased with our stay in Hotel Viceroy. If at some point we visit Darjeeling again Hotel Viceroy will be our Stay Destination. A big thanks to the entire team.

Location is proper, opposite to Clock tower, Mall is just 1 minute walk from Hotel.. our room was executive category but they promoted it to attic premium.. However to start with, u will get complementary comb, dental kit, moisturiser, soap, handwash, slippers, hair band, emergency kit, shaving kit everything.. room has a electronic safe deposit box where u can keep ur wallet or something important.. Room has a breath taking view of Kanchenjunga. breakfast is awesome.. I suggest everyone to have atleast one in house non veg Buffet in their dinner.. it is extraordinary.. stuffs are extreme polite & cooperative as well. Overall It's a excellent hotel to explore Darjeeling. Hotel has It's own roof, own Restaurant, own Subway, billiard board (400/- for one hour only if u know how to play), own parking facility, cab service.. One should try for room no. 506/508 if available. I would rate 9.5/10 for overall amenities of this hotel.. I would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel atleast for one day, & i am sure that he/she will not regret ever.. Hospitality, Cab service, Restaurant, Subway, Gentleness, Politeness & Courtesiousness of all stuffs.. Mr. Ali is very good at dealing things.. SBI is just 2 mnts walk, reliance trend is in 2 mnts walk, mall is 2 mnts walk,..

A little overpriced but logical at this time of year. Nice location very near to mall....but reviews given by other travellers that u can see K2 from hotel that is not 100%true...it's only visible from certain parts of the hotel room which are super costly.... The food is really very good but again costly....i just need to mention one guy Mr sen in the restaurant who arranged a special meal (Jain veg) for my elderly parents,otherwise arranging food for them could have been very inconvenient. Apart from that his hospitality towards all guest seems to be very professional.

Neat and clean. Covid safety measures are in place. temp check is done before entering the hotel. good room with wide windows on one side. They have utilised the space very well. the was room was too small though. room heater was provided. 24 hrs warm water is available. Has room service and restaurant.
