the hotel washroom wasn't clean. staff behavior wasn't good.
the food is good.
there was a dirty cup placed in the room and we noticed this around 8 in the evening. when we requested to replace the same, the staff said it could not be replaced and we will have to clean it ourselves in the washroom if we need it.
when we confronted it, the got aggressive which is not acceptable at all
as per the manager, we can not walk outside the property as there were some stray dogs.

my room was spacious with big windows but hotel staff was unable to repair the tv channel in both of my rooms . even 2 days were not enough for them.

Stay was good, Nice view from rooms. Spacious and clean rooms. Good food. Only thing is it is not walkable distance from Mg Marg. Without a taxi you can't reach the hotel from Mg Marg. Rest everything was good.

stay was good. nice view from rooms. spacious and clean rooms, good food. good service. only thing i felt is hotel is a bit far from mg marg, and you need a taxi to go to mg marg.

To escape from the harsh effects of heat, we were narrowing hill stations till we finally zeroed in on Gangtok...
While perusing for accommodations, we had many suggestions online, but Daksha caught my eye only and only for its rooms... The pics were quite good... So I casually blocked an elite suite room for us and called up the hotel.. I was answered by Vishal bro.
Right from then on, all my queries and doubts were well clarified and an itinerary was prepared accordingly.

The experience was great at this hotel. The rooms were quite big with amazing views of the mountain, and the room service was also very good. But this hotel is about 15 mins from MG Marg, so shared taxies are not easily available. Most of the time, we had to reserve one.
