Thanks to Mr Rafiq house boat manager for his good behaviour, caring nature, nice hospitality, good house boat, nest and clean, cool and calm atmosphere, good food, nice location. Everything is good whoikr staying in house boat.

No amenities available as promised, no TV, very small room and highly overpriced, frequent power cuts, will not recommend.

It's really a Horrible experience to stay in Golden Crest House Boat.....zero safety in that property...Floor of the boat literally making sound like cracking when someone walking and even thought its not if an adult is walking if my kid is also walking the cracking sound is coming...when you entered to the property last room of the property is completely tilted to backward...its literally scary and panic situations if you stay in that property...when we complained this to the owner the owner be ...more

worst houseboat. no proper door locks. the houseboat caretaker keeps disturbing you 10 times a day for stupid things. No hot water for bath. no power backup. no hygiene. the houseboat is so cranky, it keeps sounding even when you walk. worst experience. no room heaters. no wifi. no tv.

We are not satisfied at all with this house boat. Firstly they ask you for heat conditioning of room which will be charged extra 600/- per night excluding booking price but this is of no use because power cut is very frequent over there .Also while paying money for heat conditioning when vacating houseboat they charge full amount though we have been facilitated for 4 hrs instead of 9 hrs i.e full night.
Secondly, we have asked the shikara rider to drop us on the road at a fixed/particular time ...more

Nothing to do with executive room with lake view as mentioned, Houseboat is on backside,room has no view of lake,food was neither tasty not variety,TV was not in working condition,only 500 ml water bottle with dinner was given,on demand 1 lit. bottle was given,for that attendant insisted to pay,overall bad experience.On checking in, found linen was not changed,reported to attendant that on bedsheet visibility of hairs suggests that linen has not been changed,we were kept waiting for nearly an hour to get it changed

The experience was very bad
First of all the boat is located at the back side , you will not get any view and the ambience is very boring and lonely due to that.
No drinking bottles are provided in deluxe or executive room . The water which they will provide will have chlorine taste and thats too is chargeable . Dont visit this boat
Either go for switerland group of houseboat , Victoria etc

Food is really nice Just like home. breakfast everywhere in Srinagar bread butter and omlet is also good. cooperative staff.happy to stay.
