The photo that was shown of the room is completely different to the rooms that we got. The house boat is totally another one and when you arrive at the boat then nobody listens to you. There are no food facilities. And I will not suggest anyone to choose this houseboat.

We had informed the owner about our arrival time. But still the shikara was not arranged. And at end we were asked to go by usual boat which locals use which is open and not covered like Shikara. They have only one Shikara which goes for dal sightseeing. Hence if you have to visit the boat house we have to go in local boat. While returning back the owners dad arranged Shikara for us. Opt for this only if you are a budget traveler. Don't expect high, seeing photos in Google about house boat stay. It's clean with basic requirements.

The people were helpful. however we booked 4 rooms and got 3 in 1 houseboat and another in other houseboat. had to make adjustments for one night. houseboat only has 3 rooms, so if 4 is not there, then it should not be advertised as such. also food was costly.

superb experience..felt like I am in my own home.. must visit.. price bhai helped in all aspect treated me as brother, not tourist.. I had minor accident while hvng ride in gandola.. he took me to hospital.. a little boy zyed will make ur day
