After a long travel from NJP railway station for almost 9 hours because of a long diversion due to road closure checked in at the hotel. After such a horrenduous road trip the least expectation was to freshen up and have a refreshing tea. When we called the Restaurant they bluntly refused telling that they won't serve tea as they were busy with the buffet food preparations and couldn't manage 2 cups of tea .Latter , on complaining to the reception they obliged . Hotel stay was excellent, No hassles at all..location was in heart of Gangtok(MG Marg), amenities provided was excellent

We had a nice experience staying in Magpie Libing.
Its in MG Marg and it's walkable to Lal chowk.
the stay was comfortable and the reception was very nice and courteous.
The lift facility was a boon as I travelled with my senior citizen parents.
The friendly staff and the reception was very good.
Food was also good and hygienic.
The hotel is in MG Marg and its walkable to the nearby eateries and shopping markets.
