The overall stay was a very satisfying experience. The home-cooked food was really great and had quite a different flavour to it. The room was pretty good with an excellent view. The hosts were very warm and welcoming people. They also provide a cab service which has pick-up, drop options from the station and even provides for a local sightseeing trip on payable basis.
This is a couple-friendly homestay, one of the very few in the region.

We got the pure feelings of staying in the lap of Nature. The view from the balcony was just mind blowing. I am very much pleased and impressed by falimy-like atmosphere and each and every member of the homestay was just wonderful and always happy to serve us with a smiling face. Food was just finger licking and totally organic. The kitchen garden was just awesome and the colorful flowers in every corner of the homestay gave us heavenly feeling. Roaming in the lonely roads, inhaling the fresh oxygen. wish to stay few days more.

The homestay is true to its name. Located in Takdah, it's a great homestay amidst Nature. However to reach the place you'll have to climb the rock-cut stairs for about 10 mins but once you reach the homestay it's worth it. It has all modern amenities.
Food served is great, and there's a kitchen incase you want to cook for yourself.
Overall, a good stay!

the hotel is very far away from the city (more than 30km) and its very difficult to reach there since Darjeeling is a hill station. they are just business minded, trying to make use of the situation of the travellers. The behavior of the hotel people was poor.

Excellent homestay. Food was good. Bibesh is a very nice person and extremely helpful. One can have a feeling of being completely isolated from the busy world while staying at the cottage. Would love to visit again.

Nice homestay at this budget with homely atmosphere and very good services. Location is also very nice beside large tea garden. Foods are also tasteful.
