The location of the hotel is not good. It is far from the main market MG Marg. The room was clean but they charged an additional Rs300 per day for the room heater . There is no lift or elevator. The food in the restaurant was too spicy and costly . I will not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Property was good but Staff and Room service was poor, sometimes you have to ask twice nd thrice for single thing but than also it did not get done. Food was not tasty and very less options available. The main problem is electricity issue with this hotel, light can go any time and they evn do not have proper generator system so that you can use basic ammenities like switchboards for charging your mobile phones and even geyser.
It was very bad experience when you have to stay whole night without electricity.... heater and other things.

Really good rooms with a great view. Good breakfast spread. Would really recommend it. Location wise, it's a good 10-15 mins walk to the mall road since the road is uphill while going to the mall road. But you can find shared cabs right outside the hotel to reach mall road for 10 bucks. So all in all I would say a really good place to stay. The only negative if I have to say, they charge separately for the room heater (~250 bucks per night).

Staff behavior is excellent and good service. You can enjoy natural beauty though your window. Room was very clean and worthy for your Gangtok trip. MG Market is also 1.5KM from the hotel. so you can enjoy your shopping in evening...
