Saramsa Resort

the stay was good. the good part 1 located in lap of nature,nice place for nature lover 2 quite place, free from crowd and noise 3 non veg food preparations decent 4 staff are helpful and nice 5 Samarsa garden at walking distance(15-20 min) walk 6 good for kid and family 7 restaurant ambience good. you have full view of nature. you can easily spend 2-3 hours here or even more. the bad part 1 about 16 km away from Gangtok, 2 not up-to mark to called as resort 3 room was not prepared well. have to ask for many thing such as toiletries and then it was made available. intercom was not functional till checkout and that was pathetic, you have to always come out and search for someone. 4 balcony light was not working, you can find it in photo attached 5 spider webs was there in balcony and at room corner 6 light was not there from 4am to 9am only emergency light was in fan and light, not in socket. I have to charge my phone by my power bank. so you have to manage emergency situation by your own, generator was started after than only. so it is not RESORT standard 7 taxi arranged by front desk was not good. Mr pravin the taxi driver very bad behaved and irresponsible man. 8 veg preparations need some upgradation, though OK but not of resort standard of course. 9 sweets was pathetic. if someone want to get ride of sweet than try sweet here you will certainly stop eating sweet. so overall the place was nice staff are good but not value for money and need some upgradation to get resort standard

Hotel location is more beautiful and enjoyable. Rooms are clean and spacious like homely feeling . Room services are very good . Serving staff was very polite , cooperative and nice. The manager was very cooperative for car booking. Service boy Mr. Avinash was very friendly and helpfull. Your foods and breakfast was delicious and homely. It was really of our test. Your kitchen was neat and clean and hygeniec. They allowed us to enter the kitchen and we prepared one dish of our test.Enjoyed a lot at your hotel.

Found dead insect in food. Service is very very poor. They have employed school going children in hotel who obviously do not have any idea of hotel management profession, hence services tend to reduce. They don't have fridge in the rooms. Sofas are very dirty. Hotel is far off the main city. It is very expensive and not worth for money.

Good peaceful Stay. It's's a beautiful resort with big clean rooms. Aesthetics of the resort are awesome. Only thing is it is not situated in Gangtok but in Ranipool around 40 minutes from Pakyong Airport ( which could be advantageous) on the way to Gangtok which is another 45min to 1 hour . Service is good view from rooms are scenic.
