I booked the hotel for 2 nights - First of all my room key wasn't working, I went out for almost a day and turned on please clean up ****on to clean up my room and when I came back after a day to relax in my room the room was in the exact same shape as I left it. I came back to rest in the room but it took another hour to get my room clean. When I raised this issue to the manager he said you had to ask for room cleaning whereas I had turned in the "Please Clean Up" for room cleaning service. Moreover, the manager is very rude instead of getting the issue resolved he blamed me for the same. Worst experience-I would never book this property again.

Its a new hotel which is well maintained, polite staff, with all required amenities. They had running hot water all the time, unlike other where you have to switch on the geyser. Lift is provided and there are many bell boys to help you carry your luggage around. Restaurant on the first floor is clean and the variety on the menu is vast and food is delicious. Another plus point is that they provide all the stuff at MRP which is rare to find in places like Katra. Please give them a chance if you visit this katra.

The Hotel Staff especially Mr. Vijay Kumar was super Cooperative. He assisted us in getting vehicle for drop to Jammu at last moment which we were finding difficult. The room was very clean. Food service was slow at their restaurant which they should improve. There was minor transparency issues like there was no slippers in room but they asked at the time of check out and charged for water bottles during breakfast (which included in package).

incredible stay ... room service was great, room was beyond expectations. we have deducted one star because - heater /ac control of the room was done at reception. you have to call every time to get it switched on / off. It is suggested to be done at room level. rest everything was good.manager & all other staff are very friendly & helpful. For everyone looking for a luxury stay, we recommend this hotel.

The hotel is luxirious the interior has all modern amenities and room was also spacious. my experience was really awesome with the hotel. Hotel staffs were very supportive and polite. In some scenarios they go beyond the expectation and fulfill the requirements, without asking for support. Hotel is nearby market.

Hotel the grand dewan is a great place to stay at. It is clean, the rooms are spacious and well kept. The service staff is courteous and great. It is nearby the market area and also near the starting point of vaishno devi trek... just go ahead for a stay at this lovely hotel and enjoy your trip.

Been traveling to Vaishno Devi katra since 8 years This Hotel Grand Dewan was one of the best hotel since 8 years . The Hotel provides best food and the ambiance is up to mark . I would like to suggest this hotel for a stay in katra. Spacious room Great room service Great staff service

It's a brand new property hardly a few months old very clean and new. But the room was not very well ventilated. The windows could not be opened. Definitely it was quite new and it was centrally locatedtly not very far from the railway station. Definitely give it a try. Food was average.

Food was great, rooms were not clean on my first day check in whereas it was clean on my third day in katra(one day gap). Amenities were good too, View from top of the hotel was great. Heater and Air conditioner controls were not given to the customer which was a little downside for me.

The Hotel is located close to Main bus Stand & Niharika Bhawan , it is about 20mtrs inside from main road but is actually worth it .. it's a new and very clean and well lit property.. The service staff is good, Rooms are comfortable and washrooms are clean as new. Worth a Stay !!

It was a great stay in Hotel grand Deewan. It is definitely a boutique property. The hotel is near & tidy. Staff is highly cooperative & available 24×7 to attend you. I will definitely recommend this hotel to every person who is Coming for the Vaishno Devi darshan.

It was a very good experience staying in Grand Dewan. Hotel is good for family. Location is perfect. Just 5 min walk for RFID card center and main market. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

The place could have been cleaner, the bathroom rugs were dirty and should have been changed. Service was good and food was also really good.
