A 'gotcha' very early-on even before you check-in: Make sure you use the shikara at Ghat 9 for a complete shikara ride through the lake, or else they charge you 200 anyway if you directly want to go to your houseboat (Guess they should mention this on the page) A fairly good welcome experience, they took care of our bags. The reason for my rating is: the Floating heritage has 2-3 or maybe more houseboats. They made me stay in the houseboat. I booked a superior room and it was mentioned it’s 220sq.ft, but the room I stayed in was far less than that area. My stay was ok but I’m pissed and making sure you stay in other.

It is at the ghat no 9 which is very near to all the sightseeing stops. The rooms are good and the staff and the owner are very very humble. They took a good care of us.

Room was good, but in bathroom flush as well as water tap was continuous leakage. Complimentary shikara ride was not available. Also to and fro charge to ghat was to be paid.

clean rooms. helpful staff. great view of dal lake and all the houseboats in the front. Nice dining area. you can bring a parcel and they'll provided with 🍽. Good experience

The hotel amenities were excellent. but food was not of quality. food was charged at very high rates. no staff were found in the site most of the time. power was off for most of the day time. TV wasn't working again most of the time.

overall it was a nice stay shifat was handling everything nicely he even provided my son fishing rod which he enjoyed. will love to come again only problem was that sales people should not be allowed inside houseboat as whenever we came out at gallery of house boat every time they come and spoil our morning and evening there.
