The owner is rude. denied check-in and on lots of request provided 6 rooms instead of 7, that too in different boat which was not as good as newlife. Avoid booking this houseboat.

In New Life Housboat had really feel started new life of my life journey .. amazing place to be stay with this boat and here mr. sakib he really made well take care of us in inside of house boat and shikada transfer services. must be visit same new life house boat. Regards Kishor Madnani

I have spent an amazing few days here under the care of lovely people. The houseboat is in a great location near Dal gate with stunning views across the water. It was a perfect spot to go out and explore what Kashmir has to offer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this houseboat. The interior was very nice, I felt completely comfortable inside. The food was especially delicious, there was plenty of it and they definitely didn't skimp on the meat and vegetables. Very good value for money and I'd happily stay here again.

Whenever I visit Kashmir I stay on Houseboat New Life and I always thorough enjoy my stay. They serve delicious home-cooked food, perfectly spiced, using fresh local ingredients. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the houseboat itself is comfortable and homely. The boat is conveniently located in the first row opposite the boulevard, making excursions simple. Strongly recommended.
