Property location is good. But it is a very old houseboat which is poorly maintained. Size of room is also very small(around 100 sq ft). There is only one charging point. Food is only available when you order it well in advance like 5-6 hours before and no on demand snacks will be available. Also cost of food is way too high considering the type of houseboat as it is not a luxury one. Cost of one meal is around 400 rupees. Staff is good and courteous and they are ready to help for anything. Considering the facilities price should have been less than what we had paid.

I am in dilemma while writing my review, Because I have got this hotel in a deal and it was comparatively cheaper for me so I can say it is value for money. But In real the hotel which I got was different from the hotel shown in portal picture, I am attaching you the pics of the hotel which I got Instead of The house Lake Boat, it was some Hardy Palace. I asked the owner about it he told me that there are group of boats, and in the portal they provided pics of only one house boat.
So with it there is kind of discrepancy with the product I have chosen and what I get.

This HB needs a lot of improvement in service offerings. I couldn't sleep all night. Bed linen were not cleaned. It was quite warm in August and there was no ventilation and fans were not effective. We had to wait all day for soaps as there was no one to get them for us. Food was costlier than best Srinagar hotels and also was not good at all in quality. One needs to pay Rs 50 to reach this HB as they dont provide it. Thats an additional cost cosidering the number of times you have to go to mark ...more

It was really good experience in staying here with great hospitality from the houseboat owner. I m really touched by their great service rendered to us ( me & my frnd). I m thankful to all the family members of the houseboat and their generosity. They are really nice people by heart..I recommend one should come and stay here to really know the true Kashmir's beauty and it's innocent and generous people like adil Bhai, his younger brother- umaar and his educated father..I love them all..
