Hotel is just behind Darjeeling Railway station. You can book for joy ride very easily and also enjoy View of Kanchenjunga just outside the hotel. Mahakal temple and Mall road is 8-10 mins walking distance from hotel. market area with very cheap rates is also nearby. Japanese temple is also around 30 mins walking distance from hotel. Overall its a good choice with bus stop being 10 mins walking distance as well. Rooms were neat with geyser but the bed sheets were dirty. request the hotel to clean the bed sheets properly next time.

I will just say that I am grateful that i got a chance to stay in this property. Its in the heart of Darjeeling and the heritage of India - DHR - is in the neighborhood. The Kanchenjunga range is very much visible. Thank you Zambala Retreat in-service and specially the Receptionist, made my stay like home. Chintu dada is also one person, who made sure that nothing is left and fullpower host. Thank you again. love dhruv-gauri Room and Service. Tasty food. Soft spoken people of the property.

Don't think how far is Mall road from hotel, see the other aspects of the hotel. it is Just bang opposite to heritage of toy train. it's awesome view. rooms are also quite good and specially i need to mention abt the restaurant,good food.since i was traveling with kid they gave me what I wanted. THANKS zambala retreat service is good

It was an amazing stay in such affordable price. All the amenities are so satisfying, all the staff there are always ready to help. Great room service. It has got a amazing restaurant too with lip smacking food. Highly recommended.

Food was so good. Especially - Puri Sabji & Burn Garlic Rice Noodles. All the staff are polite and friendly. The room was well decorated and clean. I will suggest if anyone wants to book a room here then try Attic Room. Thank you.

Our stay in the hotel was very good. The manager of the hotel even arranged the cab to reach the hotel at night from NJP station. The room was very clean . It was a nice experience to see the toy train everytime from our hotel.
