Hotel has some pros and cons.Pros:1. All basic amenities which were written, provided.2. Very polite staff. The hotel supervisor was professional and very helpful.3. I found delicious North Indian food at a very reasonable price. As finding good veg food is a problem in Darjeeling, i felt.Cons:1. As Location was mentioned near the station but it wasn't actually nearer. It was 1.4 km from the station. And so far you have to take a taxi form your dropping point. Even then you have to walk 600 meter in hilly area 🤣2. Veg food is not available nearby but it was available in the hotel itself.3. Due to low temperature rooms have ample amount of moisture which can't be eliminated by simple means, as may be we North Indian feels the same in winter.Overall staying in this hotel was good, and specially if you meet with right people and supportive staff then it makes worthy staying.Thank You Mr. Nikhil for your kind gesture and support throughout.

The hotel, in all ways, qualifies as a top choice. Pocket-friendly, navigable and clean. The location is near Darjeeling Mall(lower toong soong road) . Sanitation has been taken care of. The manager and the staff are very hospitable, understanding, cooperative and extremely well-mannered. Catering to services is fast and efficient. All promised services are fulfilled. The wifi is fast. The food and beverages provided satisfy in quantity and quality too. Drinking water is provided warm too, if requested . For the rooms, the flooring is done well. Lighting, cleanliness and ventilation are also good for the rooms. Room upgradation, if required is also available.Overall, it was a 10/10 stay. Definitely recommended.

I booked for 3 nights. Very good experience that I have. Clean bathroom and hot water is the most common crisis of every budget hotels of Darjeeling, but I didn't had faced such problems from Dezong Retreat. Washroom was extremely neat and clean, 27*7 hot water (from Geyser) is available, every staffs are very polite and Caring, specially Nikhil, Sumiran, Prashika, Aaysha & Singer... thanks to all. But little bit problematic to reach mall from the hotel with laguage due to uphill. But don't worry, they provide affordable paid Coolie Service.

One of the cheapest and best hotels in the whole darjeeling, I have stayed in this hotel for more than 7+ times. There are every kind of rooms and each one is best for its own use. The Staffs are polite, the geyser is working and they give their customers with their own retreat branded glasses and soap. Clean rooms and hygienic. I visit Darjeeling a lot of times with work so I have quite researched about hotels alot in Darjeeling. This one is the best of all.
