room service was not good. breakfast was not more option . lift shoud be for third floor. reception number not responding

It's a very nice property. Beautiful views from the top floors.
Lift is not present so it's difficult for senior citizens to climb the stairs.
Maintenance is much needed as lot of faults can be noted in the rooms.
MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE NUMBER PROVIDED DOES NOT WORK AND THE PERSON DON'T RESPOND TO ANY QUERIES. Goibibo should look into this matter seriously!

The location of Alaya Resort is okay. Since Darjeeling has lot of traffic and one has to walk a lot, this place is between Zoo and Mall road. Each is 25 mins walk from the stay.
The staff is very polite but untrained. They are like interns learning on the Job.
The food is very food and reasonably priced. Water bottles were charged Rs.40+GST for 1 litre.
Reception folks are okay.
housekeeping is poor. maintenance of property is not upto the mark.
The stay has parking but a little difficult to park.
I would not choose to stay here again.

Location of the hotel is very good. Hotel is having good rooms for stay. The only problem is services are not up to the mark. Basic services like TV is not provided with channels. Iron is not provided. Food is not good. Complementary breakfast is not good only tea poha pasta papaya is served. May be due to off season they are not spending too much on Complementary breakfast. Good thing is Mall road, zoo and HMI is walkable. View of happy valley tea garden is amazing

Wonderful resort, lovely balcony and the view is amazing. Welcomed me with nice and hot Darjeeling tea. Totally recommend.
