    Located at a distance of about 1 km from the Jharsuguda Railway station, Jhadeswar temple is famous for its self-appeared Shivalingam. Its date of origin is unknown, but it is said that the lingam used to be worshipped during the reign of Zamindar Govind Singh of Jharsuguda. In the year 1916, a Gujarati contractor named Mulju Jagmal erected a small temple here.
