Spacing between seats is low. Night stop is very late and not of decent quality.

The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the estuarine region of Brahmani-Baitarani, is one of the most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries in the continent of Asia. The Mangroves, salt-tolerant tree species, are a wonder of the place, sprawling an area of nearly 672 square kilometre. Criss-crossed by numerous water-sketches, the sanctuary is a proud refuge to a plethora of birds, animals and amphibians.

  • Barabati Fort

Believed to be constructed in the 11th century by the Ganga dynasty, the Barabati fort is situated on the banks of the Mahanadi River. Its main attractions include the ornately carved gateway and the 20-yard wide ditch, most probably dug to protect the fort against invaders.

  • Cuttack Chandi Temple
