This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had travelling by bus in India. The bus arrived more than 2 hours late. The pick up point was not mentioned clearly in the ticket and the conductor called us to a place on the bypass where there were no other passengers. We waited without information for over an hour and a half and upon calling the conductor several times he gave us completely unreliable information as to the estimated arrival time of the bus. First they were stuck in traffic, then the tyre got punctured and then some more excuses. It was highly inconvenient and unsafe for us since we were stranded on the road without any place to sit, no means of transport or food that too after 7 pm in a hill station where everything shuts down early. Moreover once we did manage to board the bus we were not given adequate stops in order for them to cover up on lost time.
